Life is a process! We all have the things inside us that drive us to our destinations!  We are each given a road map, which lies in the depths of our hearts!  I really know that there are some desires that are within me that I have to pursue!   I recently went through a Life Languages workshop to find out more about the factors that make each person who they are.  I was amazed to see a 26 page print out on my computer, once I took the test and answered the questions!  I definitely defined who I was!   I guess you could say, it “confirmed” it!

Don’t go through life, trying to be someone you are not! You were made to perfection of a master who took a lot of thought into the specialization of who he wanted you to be!

Don’t try to change those around you and those you love, to make them what you want them to be! Find out “HOW” to speak their language!

One of my mentors read me like a book the first time I talked to him. He asked me about my husband and his personality and immediately knew we had to work at our differences!   39 years and we still work daily on them!  But you do have to work with and live with people whose personalities will be quite different than yours.

In business relationships and in family and friend relationships, we need all types of personalities to get the job done! Think about your body.   Does your little finger, look like your big toe, or your ear take favor to your nose?  They are very different from each other, yet without them, you would really have a harder job to do!  Working together with us, they all serve a purpose in helping us through the everyday journey of this life!

Don’t cut certain people out of your life, just because you don’t see things the way they do. You may be a very out spoken individual and a real rule follower!  If you are working with someone who takes things less seriously and you overcome them with your aggressiveness, they will not want to work with you!  Maybe if you compliment first and then offer to help them, they will take it as constructive help and not criticism.   If you are quiet and you are working with an aggressive personality, don’t take it personally.  They can be an asset to you when  things need to be taken care of.  Enjoy having them deal with the things you would rather not have to deal with!

I am a high responder. I am a good right hand person to have by your side to help get the job done!  I don’t like being totally in charge, but if no one else will do it…..I will!  I don’t give up easily.  I am slow to get angry, but if I get upset, I may say too much too quick!  I love to be busy and I love to sometimes have quiet time, but I do like to be with people, even though I’m not a big talker.  I would rather listen.    When I work with someone who is a strong leader, I love seeing them accomplish!    I am not real competitive, but I have to realize, some people are!  I am somewhat of a quick decision maker,  and don’t always think things through, before I jump on board.  I get so many projects going sometimes, my head is spinning!  I’ve tried to keep a planner and I’ll do good for a day or so… then I just somehow misplace it or lose it.    My goal is to focus and get organized.  I love organization and I am only slightly organized.

I’ve told you all of this about me, to ask you to take some time, and write down who you think you are!  Get a profile of yourself.  Once you figure out who you are, then it will help you to decide what your specialty is and where and what, you are destined to be.  Don’t be afraid to start sorting out some things that are in your life that need to go!  Build your dynasty on your strengths and build on the strengths of others!  Get focused!

It’s not every day, that we take time to isolate ourselves from the distractions around us and focus on the positive things that are within us! I am on a 30 day mental cleanse!  Cleaning out the cob webs, getting focused and charging for a life full of Achievement!  Today, I write this affirmation.  Read it and think about yours.  Write yours down,  and move forward, with the  Power of Faith driving you.  See your destination as if it is already here.  Believe you cannot fail!  You have the Power To Achieve!

Now here is my affirmation!

I am blessed and highly favored!  Even before I was in my mother’s womb, you gave me a destiny and a purpose for my life.  I was born to be a servant and a high achiever.  I am destined to teach others to believe and achieve, that which God has placed in them.  I will speak words of blessings and power into the lives of those I meet and into my own life.  I know who I believe in and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him until that day, when he calls me home. Beverly Ross Power To Achieve

It was an eye opener for me, when I looked at 10 questions about building a Business and  was asked to put them in sequence of 1-10 as to the most important to a prospect, to the least important to a prospect. My biggest miss, was the most important!  I gave it a “7″ and it was number “1″!

Would  you would have done the same? What was the first and most important thing the person you are working with, is interested in?  Is it the Company ImageThe people you are in business with?  Your marketing plan?  The training provided, your product line? Your tools and help materials? No, the one thing that is most important to them is WHO IS GIVING THEM THE PRESENTATION? Who they are going to be in business or partnership with?   That is YOU!  They want to be in business or partnership with someone who has great integrity and someone who is going to help them reach their goals and achieve their dreams.  They want a mentor who cares enough to pick up the phone and really wants to see them succeed!

RECOGNIZE THE PERSONALITY DIFFERENCES! When you present your idea or opportunity to an individual, here are some differences you will find!

Some are strong leaders and in the top 3% of successful top money earners.  They work tirelessly in pursuit of their goal.  They don’t depend on anyone but themselves to get the job done!  They will not stop until the job is done!  When working with an individual like that, you will have found someone who won’t need as much help from you as others.  They thrive on knowing they did what it takes and paid the price to have success!  Stay on track and set a great example with them, or they will pass you!

Some are information driven and if you are not there for them to get them answers to all of their questions and help them see the total picture, you will loose them.  You don’t need to sell them.  You just need to get them access to everything and give them time to study it.  If you press in, you will loose them.  You may think they are not interested, but you will be surprised if you have a valuable opportunity and they see it, you won’t be able to stop them from getting involved, once they are convinced by what they’ve seen and read.  Once again, lead them through the information and let them make an informative decision.

Some prospective business associates are really people driven. They are sensitive to people’s needs and you have to approach them from the aspect of  how beneficial your business could be in helping others, as well as really helping them achieve all the dreams and goals they have.  They will have many goals in line with helping others.  Perhaps special causes, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, providing shelter etc.  Be sure to let them know how you really relate to their desires and how you know  they are going to be able to  help many others succeed!

Then their are people who mainly just want to find joy in what they are doing. They do not like boring and depressing meetings and presentations!  It has to be fun and inspirational. They love people and they like to have a good time, so make your business an adventure to them.  Tell them how it’s going to be so much fun, to vacation in the sun with them.  Let them know how they will be able to attract people to them, just because they have a lot to share with other people.  Let them know that people need their enthusiasm!

You need to have all different types of people in your business and YOU need to attract them to YOU! Look at it this way, when you were dating and you put on the right perfume or the right cologne,  you had confidence that that special person was going to notice you!  If you knew the cologne or perfume they liked, wouldn’t you have wanted to wear it?  You have the ability to get familiar with anyone you know, and find out what makes them tick!  Respect who they are and give them the gift of approaching them from that aspect.

Recently, taking a Life Languages course, I found out I am a High Responder. This is my top Life Language out of 7 Life Languages!    My husband, on the other hand was a Contemplator.  His Language was one that I had the least in common with;  however, we’ve been together for 39 years!  I guess it’s true that opposites attract!  He likes to get very involved with studying things out.  He likes to have his space.  He doesn’t like fast change and he is very smart, due to the fact he does study things out a lot!  I have learned through the years, to give him the right to be who he is.  I know to give him space.  Not take it personally when he doesn’t like the same shows I like…..at least most of the time.  I’m still working on that!  But by knowing, it helps me understand the challenges that come up!

Know your people. You can’t do this unless you spend time with them.  You need all types in your business!  Everyone has their special place.  I have always enjoyed studying personalities and have studied them in many aspects, because it is important to know who you are working with, or living around.  Si if you want the Power To Achieve in your Relationships, whether it it a business relationship, or a personal relationship Know Your People And Build Relationships That Will Last!

Achievement Strategy For Today
We are  chosen and designed to handle what ever is put before us! Have you ever just thought about how fortunate you are to be born at this time, where there is running water, a toilet and toilette paper, air conditioning, electricity and all those other things we take for granted? We really have it made, but circumstances sometimes make us forget what we DO have to be thankful for! When things get “tough”….the “tough” get going. We really don’t have a clue, here in America, what it’s like to struggle, but if we don’t get our mind set on the good things we have, all we will do is think of the challenges that face us every day! This life is worth fighting for! We need to be determined to live it to it’s fullest, despite our circumstances!
Don’t focus on the problem but focus on the solution. Whether it’s a family challenge, a work challenge, relationship challenge, or a personal challenge, you can be thankful that a solution lies before you! Don’t hesitate to LISTEN to those who will speak positive into your life.
Also do not hang around the pitty pool or you will drown. People who complain constantly have formed a habit and that habit feeds on getting others to join them. They will pull you into the pool if you don’t run! Just get out of the conversation quickly, and then go turn everything around into words that will build you up and strengthen you to move forward.
I loved the UTube I got this week on my Facebook,  of a very young girl, in front of the mirror, with all of her possitive affirmations about her life, her family and herself! You can get the job done so as the Bible says, “Think on the good things!” Also it says, “As a man thinketh in his heart….so is he!” So what have you been saying about yourself and about others? How about that one child you are concerned about? Or the job, or the finances? Hey, I’m speaking to myself here on a daily basis and this takes work and dedication. You didn’t form the habit of negative thinking in a day and you will have to realize it will take time to break it!
Are you willing to give it everything you’ve got and be determined to build your faith? What the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve! God gave us amazing minds.   He taught us  to be THANKFUL in “ALL“  things.  Now in order to do that, you have to put your mind and thoughts to work and start to see how a bad situation can turn into good.  For example, let’s say you are late to work  or an appointment, because you forgot to fill up with gas.   You could say, thank you God that I am having to reschedule my day.  I know you are working things out on my behalf!  (You may  have avoided a serious car wreck by having this delay) Only he knows, so trust him with your life and circumstances.   I know if you put  these principles into practice, you will  find the Power To Achieve!
