Have you ever been there? Totally doing everything within your power to succeed in your MLM Business, only to be told “No Thank You” by that prospect that was soooo excited the night before? Well I have and working as a team with my husband in the 80′s trying to do all the right things, spending hundreds of dollars on seminars, tools, motels, travel was a “big” learning lesson for me! I got educated from successful people and I’m talking about Multi-Millionaires! I had coffee in Denny’s with some of them and on a regular basis!
What this did for me was get my dream in place! I wasn’t a dynamic speaker, but…I could talk easily with people. My husband is the quiet type, so I did the prospecting and he did the business presentations. We just gave up too soon as a team! Life happened and we moved away from our team and set our business efforts down.
In my plans, I always knew I had to crank the old engine up again and keep on pushing on the gas peddle until I succeeded! I needed to prove to myself I could be successful, so I put all my efforts into getting a Real Estate license and threw myself into the world of Real Estate! I did find success there, maintained my other business I started in the 80′s, but lost all my down-line!
I had to start somewhere and that was when I determined to find something I could work on my own, and later bring my husband back if he chose, or just build myself for our benefit! He had advanced to a highly successful career and seemed happy there. So I took the plunge! I decided to get online and search! I knew a few things: (1) I didn’t want to travel great distances and do meetings and get home at 3:00 in the morning and go to work! (2)I wanted to work with people who were as dedicated as I was to succeeding (3)I wanted to work from home as the gas cost in Real Estate was eating up a lot of my commissions(4)I wanted to be a lender and not a borrower(5)I wanted to teach other people to be successful and eliminate my debt, so I could teach them to eliminate their debt too. (6)I wanted to support many causes that were important to me (7)And I did want to travel….just not in snow storms, which I’ve done many times, just to get home from meetings and seminars.(8)I wanted to expand my business from just one business, to many income streams, and by showing other people how to do it, I figured it could be highly successful for me and them.
My first venture covered Household needs, Food and Nutrition, Makeup, Many Groceries like cereal, paper products, ketchup, medicines and the list goes on and on! That’s what the Millionaires I was sitting at the table with were doing. They used the products and taught other people to use them and pretty soon, their businesses were like a Wal-Mart store, running out of their home. And they were not even having to ship products. Products were shipping out from the factory to the consumer and the checks were being deposited in their banks! Wanna try this out! But that’s not what this article is about! There are many things in life we spend money on so my focus was on what other things were there that people could network and make income streams on? Travel was the next venture I went on. Then I found frustration once again, when I had graduated up to hosting calls but I was not making money! I trained and called 1000′s of people for two years and did everything I was told. I spent Hundreds of dollars buying leads, but I found the economy had households so fearful of letting go of $1200-$11,000 to start a business. It was a hard sale and almost everyone I talked to wanted it , but they were more concerned about paying the house payment and putting food on the table. So, I started my search again!
It was in the summer of 2009, I found it! I do believe in prayer and I was praying about a way you could have all these business income streams and market them online. I was thinking about something else that people spend money on that would be a more marketable product. I still liked my first business, but the only way I knew to build it was back to the home meetings, motel meetings and long trips to seminars every month. So…I thought of cell phones! Everyone uses them! I put in the search bar the name of a company I had heard of that was doing an MLM Business with cell phones! And that’s when it happened!
